MOST PEOPLE KNOW WHAT MASSAGE IS AND WONDER
"wHAT IS INTEGRATIVE REFLEXOLOGY?"
.Integrative Reflexology is similar to massage therapy for the feet, hands and ears.
.The basic principle is that there are zones on our feet, hands and ears that correspond to (or "reflect") muscles, bones, organs, glands and systems of the body.
.Pressure, massage and stimulation are applied to points in these zones to bring balance back to the body via nerve pathways that run from the top of your head to the bottoms of your feet, as well as to the tips of your fingers.
.Reflexology promotes stress relief and boosts the immune and nervous systems. And it feels great!
WHAT DOES A REFLEXOLOGY SESSION LOOK LIKE?
.Your session includes a foot bath with a customized essential oil blend and Epsom salt
.Your session will take place in a private room where you may relax without disruption.
.You will be completely dressed during your session with the exception of removing your shoes, socks and jewelry.
.You will lie on a massage table with your legs and feet elevated on pillows
.You will be covered with a sheet and/or blanket to your personal comfort level.
.The session will start with your feet, then each hand, then the ears, and will end back at the feet again.
.Before starting the session, we will take a moment to discuss any health concerns you may have so that these may be addressed during the session.
.Once the session starts, you are welcome to relax and listen to the soothing music. Some clients even fall asleep.
.Your responsibility during the session is two fold: (1) let me know if anything is uncomfortable or painful, and (2) relax.
